Grand Teton Winter Tour Overview

Have you ever seen the snow crystals sparkle in the air on a ‘bluebird’ sunny day?  Sipped on hot coffee as you watched bighorn sheep step across a rocky slope?

We will take you through a winter wonderland, including a sleigh ride in a herd of thousands of elk, a hot lunch at a local eatery inside a world-renowned wildlife art museum, and the year-round open water at Kelly Warm Springs in Grand Teton National Park.

Make a snowball.  Throw it at that person in your family.  You know who I am talking about.

Make your winter mountain dreams come true in Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park.

Warmth & Comfort

Your comfort throughout the day ensures you get to enjoy your time in winter.  We come prepared with thick blankets and hand warmers for the sleigh ride, hot meals and a massive thermos so you can warm up after exploring outside.  You can enjoy the refreshing cold and still be cozy.

Private & Exclusive

A tour for just your friends and family ensures a memorable day for you alone.  You won’t be stuffed in a vehicle with strangers or have to smile when they show you photos of their cat.

Spacious Sightseeing Van

Our raised-roof sightseeing vans are all windows.  That means that everyone has the best seat to view the mountains as you travel through Grand Teton National Park.

Food for the Day

Hot breakfast, a gourmet hot lunch at a local bistro, snacks, and hot water for coffee or cocoa take care of your needs throughout your day with us.  This is one day when you don’t have to worry about keeping everybody fed.

Family Photos

With our iPhone photo package, you’ll go home with the best photos of your vacation.  Your guide will capture the whole family and share the photos, so you can have your Christmas card shot-looking all festive in the snow.

Professional Optics

Thousands of dollars of optical equipment at your disposal allow you to bring the wildlife up close and personal no matter how far away it is.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have never seen snow before? What can you do to help me enjoy it?

We will keep you warm. Thick blankets, handwarmers, hot drinks, hot breakfast and lunch, and multiple breaks out of the cold.  We come prepared to accommodate all of your needs.  We love the winter and want to show you how beautiful it can be as long as you go out prepared.

Will you pick me up at my hotel? Our other family members are going to take the car skiing.

Yes.  We will come to your door and get you for the day.  We will do the winter driving.  You can sit back and enjoy all of the sites around Jackson.

Why is the winter a good time to visit?

During the winter, thousands of elk, bison, deer, bighorn sheep, and dozens of other small mammals make their home in the Snake River Valley, right outside of Jackson.  You can see five moose at once feeding in the snow-covered sagebrush or watch dozens of bighorn sheep move across a mountainside, sights you will never see in the summer when the animals head up into the mountains.
