You will smell the sulfur before you see it. Stop and take a closer look at the bubbling mud pots, steam vents shooting from the hillside, and shadowy waterfalls. Pause to feel the mist of Old Faithful’s explosion in all of its glory.
It’s even better in person.
This being a remote national park, the facilities are mainly outhouses. We know where all of the 5-star restrooms are in Yellowstone, so you don’t have to go in a dark and dank outhouse. Need a place to wash your hands? We’ve got you covered.
Your input ensures your guide designs the day according to your interests. You go at your family’s pace-whether you want to linger with that moose or move along to find the next amazing sight.

This tour is great for those who want a little extra time in Jackson Hole. Maybe you have found an excellent hotel in Jackson that you really want to enjoy, or perhaps you appreciate Jackson’s wealth of shopping, fine restaurants, or family-friendly activities. Whatever your reason, this tour will let you see both national parks without you having to move your hotel.
You can absolutely choose. We typically recommend seeing Grand Teton National Park first because it is a shorter day and has a better flow. A shorter day allows you to get dinner and good rest before your big day in Yellowstone. Grand Teton National Park is on the road to Yellowstone, so seeing that park on the first day means that you get to spend more time in Yellowstone on day 2. This is a custom tour; you make the call.
We recognize that it is nice to have a break in between the two tours for other activities in Jackson. Many of our guests also plan rafting, horseback riding, or a day at Teton Village. On request, we are happy to schedule your days with a break. Please consider if you would like to have the same guide for both days; it is easier for us to make that work if the tours are consecutive.
