We’ve helped many people work out the logistics on how to do this. We can save you an extra hotel night and the need for a rental car until the tour is over. Typically, we have our guests fly into Jackson on the first day, take a taxi into town, and stay at simple accommodations the first night. Then, we’ll pick you up on the first day of the tour, show you Yellowstone, and take you to pick up a rental car at the airport on our way back. We will then follow you to your hotel and drop off all of your luggage.
This two day tour gives us more time to explore features and hikes at a relaxed pace. Take that long hike to a backcountry geyser. Wander in the grasses on the bank of the Madison River. Catch multiple geyser eruptions around Old Faithful. We won’t have as much driving to do, so the days are not as long. This works really well for young families and folks who feel that 12 hours of touring is a bit too much.
